Dear Members, Family and Friends of The Edge Church,
In response to the unprecedented measure the Washington State Governor’s Office has taken and the declared national emergency by President Trump today in regards to COVID-19, we have prayerfully made the decision to not have services at The Edge Church starting this Sunday, March 15, 2020.
We care about our people and intend to take precautions to ensure the health and safety of our community. Responsibility is of the utmost importance, to reduce the spread of this virus. COVID-19 has already changed life for many of us. To those that have lost loved ones already, we offer our prayer, sympathy, and care.
II Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, love, and a sound mind.” We are praying that peace would cover us as we go through this difficult time together.
During the next coming weeks, we will be sending out updates as we evaluate this situation.
Our District Supervisor Dave Veach said “This is an opportunity for the church to rise up and serve those that are grieving, fearful, and needing direction. The history of the church is filled with stories of Christians rising up during times of crisis. My prayer is that this would be a time that the same thing happens and that thousands come to Jesus in this season.”
Several of our local Foursquare Churches will be live streaming their services on Sunday that you can access through the following websites.
Motion Church Saturday at 6:00pm, Sunday 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am
Lifespring Foursquare Church Sunday at 10:00am
NW Foursquare Church Saturday at 5pm or Sunday at 9am and 11:30am
For your convenience, your tithes and offerings to The Edge Church can be mailed or given online.
One of my favorite verses, especially in challenging times is Isaiah 41:10.
“Fear Not for I am with you. Do not be afraid for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”
Let us continue to be a beacon of light in the darkness, and a people of hope during this time of fear and distress.
Blessings and Grace,
Interim Pastor Randy Ford
