The purpose of Missions & Outreach at The Edge Foursquare Church is to train and equip ordinary people to extend His love in the name of Jesus. The first Sunday each month we take up a separate missions and outreach offering to maintain a focus on this important ministry. In addition, 10% of our general fund goes to Foursquare Missions International.

Local Missions & Outreach

Through building bridges in our local community, the Edge Foursquare Church strategically leads and partners with ministries that care for the most vulnerable in our community. Through equipping the saints (you), we are able to show the love and compassion of Jesus to a broken and hurting community. We believe that the key to transforming lives for Jesus is through the context of the relationships we build in our neighborhoods.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. {Ephesians 2:10}

We will help you find the intersection of passion and purpose in your life which God has specifically gifted you to serve.

Foreign Missions & Outreach

The Great Omission…

There’s good reason it has also been called the Great Omission. Though Jesus told his first followers to go into all the world and make disciples (Matt. 28:19-20), the Great Commission’s instruction seems to have been widely ignored—today there are large parts of the globe where the work of sharing the gospel has been left to a faithful few.

The Edge Foursquare Church sponsored a couple from our church in MENACA from 2016-2018 and in 2019 we started supporting the Griffiths in the United Kingdom.

Jonathan & Sarah Griffiths (United Kingdom)

Jonathan and Sarah are currently working in Cheltenham, England. They are establishing their first missional community with a vision to see a network of neighborhood churches who make Jesus visible in every street of Cheltenham.

Jonathan and Sarah are ordained Foursquare ministers. Jonathan was born and raised in England and Sarah grew up in Idaho. Jonathan and Sarah met in the UK, volunteering with Youth for Christ. They served for a decade in Idaho, with three years as Senior Pastor in Nampa, ID. They deployed to England in 2016 where they live with their four children making disciples, raising leaders and planting churches.
